Hello from Guilin! We arrived here today after three glorious days in Dazhai. Internet was spotty while we were there, but in exchange, we got this:
I’d say it’s a fair trade-off. 
Plenty more pictures and info to come about Dazhai but I will keep working on the Xinjiang and Yangshuo backfill first.
We’re in Guilin for just one night; tomorrow morning we are off to a new province – Yunnan – for some more mountain-themed adventures. Hope we have enough warm clothes with us!
